Obama promotes home
energy-efficiency spending

Insisting insulation is "sexy," President Barack Obama called Tuesday for new federal incentives to make millions of homes more energy efficient as a way to create jobs, save money for homeowners and reduce pollution.

Team Green Louisiana is an association of people, companies, agencies, and government entities
committed to the principles of improving our environment through every means available.

We promote educational and vendor programs on recycling and conservation of resources.
Our primary mission is to “Promote sustainable projects related to living in the State of LA.”
Projects relate to construction, energy usage, and general applications of daily life.

We support programs covering:

The new Recycling initiative in Louisiana
Tax incentives available for conservation
Alternative energy and conservation of energy programs
Meeting the Carbon Neutral Challenge
Ecological Design initiatives
Sustainable Land Use and Development
Innovations in Sustainable Design

Food for Thought

Make a packed lunch with organic produce. Reuse plastic containers and aluminum foil, and use reusable spoons and forks instead of disposable ones.
